Ray has been a resident of West Sacramento since 1952. He was the first mail carrier in West Sacramento and the last Postmaster at the former Broderick Post Office.  He was an elected Trustee for the Washington Unified School District, former Mayor of West Sacramento, and a member of the first City Council elected when West Sacramento incorporated.  He was a Commissioner for the Port of West Sacramento.  He and his wife Ann have been married for 57 years.  They have 3 Children, 11 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Fidel Martinez (on left)
Former Mayor and also one the original City Council members elected when West Sacramento incorporated.  Fidel has practiced law for 37 years and currently has a practice in West Sacramento where he has lived for the past 64 years.  He is the past president of both the West Sacramento Little League and the Yolo County Bar Association.  Fidel has been married to his wife Judy for 49 years has 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
